Eduphoria
Bearing the Global principles of Preschool education in mind, a new core preschool curriculum is designed and named as “eduphoria”, wisely means Joyful education. Eduphoria has its frames that embrace the combination of formal and informal learning methodologies.
The curriculum “Eduphoria” will follow
The Child –centred methodology, where children’s learning and development are mainly influenced by the combined involvement of Parents and family, school and society.
By developing good learning habits, appropriate infrastructure and desire towards learning, children will be well prepared for lifelong learning.
Objectives
A major objective of Eduphoria curriculum is to develop independent, creative and critical thinkers. Another important objective of the framework is assisting the Carers to support this development through capitalizing on children’s natural desire to explore, manipulate and discover.
The Activities composed within Eduphoria framework will provide preschool children with an opportunity to express their personal opinions and ideas; taking on more responsibility, and expressing oneself creatively. Through Carer’s guidance and facilitation, children are encouraged to take appropriate risks and learn the important social rules of working and playing together.
To nurture children to attain all-round development in the domains of ethics, intellect, physique, social and aesthetics skills and to develop good habits, so as to prepare them for life. To stimulate children’s interest in learning and to cultivate in them the positive learning attitudes, to lay the foundation for their future learning.
